yo. this was supposed to be finish 4 days ago but somehow i wasnt free. so busy!!!
so here it is:
HI PPL! I KNOW U ARE VERY GLAD TO SEE ME BACK FROM CAMP AFTER THE POSTS BEFORE.
WELL, I DIDNT DROWN DURING THE TRIP, DIDNT GET EATEN BY GHOST, DIDNT GET KILLED IN THE TENT.THEREFORE, I AM BACK A-L-I-V-E.
ok la, it wasnt that bad afterall la.
it was much better than i expected it to be. MUCH MUCH BETTER.
DAY1
Went right after school to changi jetty and had our lunch.
Had a hard time deciding wad to eat because according to yulin, oily stuff make u puke when u take the bumboat. so, heeding her advice we ate chicken rice.
fine, that isnt very not oily la, but well, we bought it all the same only to hear from my dear dawn lee that it causes bloatness. but we ate it all the same.
apparently, we survived the bumboat trip!
that was crap.
lol.was separated from our dear sqdmates.
took the bumboat with guiju and yulin, dehui, jianxiong and yushang. cant exactly rmb the rest la.
only rmb niao-ing dehui because of jiale.
oh, did i mention, the vs guys looked so damn serious when they fall-ed in and the dhs cadets were like strolling in.
they looked so damn fierce that they freaked me out ok.
oh well, the bumboat trip was quite fun and we reached quite quickly.
I HEREBY DECLARE: PULAU UBIN IS SUCH A NICE PLACE.
walked all the way from the jetty to the campsite.
heard that the distance was arnd 4km.
well, it is bad enough to lug a stupid bag and start walking 4km u know.
but well, we cheered the way la, so it wasnt that bad.
but we were the only ones la. so we looked super aa.
zi- high-ing.
got us into grps and we pitched tents.
GUESS WHAT?
i was the only sec2 amidst all the sec3s and i was so stressed up.
damn scared bacause my campcraft is totally like SHIT. S-H-I-T.
but well, it was still ok la since they were like many sec3s.
thought that we were gonna be slping with them but heng not.
split into grps again.
same tent as babe and wenyi. had dawn in the tent next to ours.
after much hassle, finally came into the atc grpings.
only 3 gals in the grp.
babe , wenyi and i.
then the guys came later and all of us were waving like freaks trying to tell them wad grp it was.
DINNER TIME.
1st days dinner was rather nice. the guys helped us cook. =)
but we each only ate like 1/3 of a packet la.
the rations were not bad la.
in a bag:
1 can of sardine.
1 can of curry chicken
1 can of baked beans.
1 can of pineapple cubes.
1 can of satay chicken cubes.
2 packets of milo powder.
2 packets of isotonic drinks.
1 packet of tissue.
1 packet of biscuits.
1 apricot and honey.
i packet of horlicks sweet.
4 packets of maggie mee.(koka chicken flavour)
sfter hearing so much negative comments thought that the food will suck la but it turned out to be rather nice la.
had this really lame ice breaker games.
that sorts of sum of the 1st day.
then comes the worst part.
the slping.
girls in our tent started talking about whether they had any admireres.
if they admired anyone.
if they liked anyone and so on and so for.
after a long and tiring day, everyone was trying hard to fall asleep and stupid ppl from my tent started making so much noise that i almost told them to shut up.
they even woke wen yi up to ask if she had any admirerers.
this shows how bo liao they are can.
but ours was not the worse yet. for more info, pls go and see yutse or shuyi's blog.
at least i had a peaceful night without having cream on my face. if that happened to me, seriously i will slap them.
DAY2
the start of the activities.
had pt. super slack and stupid la.
made us super wet and dirty and grassy.
but it ended. however stupid it was.
"AREA 12! *CLAP* *GO TO PUMPING POSITION" -.-"'
it is seriously very lame la.
make u start jogging on the spot. change to sit up position. change to crunches position. hornet drill. wild boar drill.
so basically it was rather slack la.
breakfast. the most horrible meal of the day.
since no one ate maggie mee for breakfast, we had milo and biscuits for breakfast.
due to the lack of hot water, i resorted to eating milo poeder while the guys happily drank their milo and ate the biscuits.
wasnt really in the mood of eating biscuits, therefore, i only had milo powder for breakfast. oh ya, and the horlick sweet.
UBIN HIKE. THE MOST INTERESTING ACTIVITY SIA.
was suppose to bring along a water bottle filled to the brim. a poncho. a pen. a campers booklet.
so stupid us only brought water bottles.
we ran 4 times up and down to get our stuff.
1st time to get poncho.
2nd time to get a pen.
3rd time to get the campers booklet.
4th time to fill the water bottle.
oh well, we were supposed to write notes on the way throughout the ubin hike but none of us bother to do so.
finally set off! and ubin hike was the start of the dhs versus vs relationship.
was rather bored at the start cause i was standing beside wenyi with nico beside her.
nico kep talking with wenyi which left me quite bored as i had no one to talk to since i was so anti-social.
went to find the rest of our sqdmate as we stopped at a place to rest and hear qrs talk abt the history and stuff la. wasnt exactly paying attention. :p
it was nothing much really.
just walking to the jetty and walking back to the jetty.
apparently some ppl couldnt be bothered abt poor ppl like us behind trying desperately to catch up.
when we stopped to wait at last, we realised the rest were like way behind us.
but still, the ci taking us didnt really slow down la.
so we ran to catch up with him.
somehow, i think it was rather stupid la.
why must they built the campsite like so far away from the jetty. :(
in total we walked that fugly road 4 times.
then went back to the campsite for lunch.
forgot wad happened already.
the only thing i rmb abt the cooking was that my grp really loved pineapple cubes alot.
that they refuse to listen to the ci that pineapple attracts mosquitoes?
for the sake of the pineapples, they can afford to be bitten by mosquitoes.
but apparently, mosquitoes love sarimbun more la.
the place is really 1000 times better than sarimbun la.
ATF. supposed to do atf but end up rain so never do.
so went in to the shelter and did stupid games like 'turn over a new leaf' and the chair games and stuff la.
stupid games.
had belaying though. but i didnt do.
quite sad that dun have the rest of the thing la.
the tunnel seems fun from dawn's exp.lol.
missed out quite a lot lor.
ppl who went for ubin hike were damn heng la.
miss ubin trail. :(
why are we in grp 8???!!!
aiya. but at least we played some games rather than sitting down there and slack.
could have done belaying de. then when the teacher/ officer came and ask the sec3s to go back, we went back too. so dumb.
CAMPFIRE.super un-high.
performance was a total flop.
didnt even do the skit.
then the cis did some cheers which we didnt understand la.
but anyhow, the skit the sec3s did were rather moral and stuff.
not exactly the thing i expected lor.
thought will be like non-np related stuff.
our grp's skit was nice lor!
but didnt perform. :(
oh ya. quite a few accidents happened.
yufen cut her hand with the can. ouch.
then karmen's arm was painful so she had to go back.aww. get well soon.
during grp debrief, thought that we would get scolded but the ci was only like " eh? why u all never do skit?"
so understanding right.
we were all like later die liao sure kena scolded until shit crap.
but never!!!

so comes our fav part again.

they were like: "later we got sentry duty at 12. can dun talk?"
i think they meant shut up.
so i kept talking la. evil me. but as u know, being a pig reincarnate, i need my slp!
so i slept quite quickly. it was like damn shuang until they woke us up at a holy time of 320.
it only seemed like 5 mins before i slept la.
when we woke up, we realised that girls from castor were late!!!
then waited for a while.
went walking arnd for abt 5 mins then went back.
went back to slp.
DAY 3.
basically it was nothing much except for the packing of the stuff, area cleaning, debrief, award presentation. then break camp.
talking abt the prize presentation. well, yr2s didnt win anything and was accused of being selfish when we were simply standing in the front because no one wanted to.
bleahx.
during the walk back, we screamed and vent our anger throught cheering. so basically, we were the only aa school that started zi highing.
our sqd has realised our love for titanic and we sang it at the jetty. :)
had lunch and talk crap at changi jetty.
went home lugging that stupid bag. kicked and did all sorts of things to it.
monday. dry shoot.
super fun. wasnt as sian as the previous one because of the other ppl doing with me and our sqd ns. super gao xiao.
went to long john silver after that to have dinner.
met two of guiju's dear friends. :)
and gossiped. :)
tuesday. live shoot.
totally stupid. cant exactly see the hits and they didnt change the target. so u dunno who shot which one.
and the recoil wasnt that big la. they say until like the gun gonna fly off liddat. lol.
saw babe and NICO(SPECIALLY FOR WENYI):)
and our sqd has also realised our love for xi shua shua. lol.
and on our way to the home academy, saw a cemetry and had a sudden thought of having the whole sqd buried together and during the hungry ghost festival, we can go drilling and scare ppl.lol. super random thought. but, any takers? :)
went to macs and had dinner and GOSSIP.

friday. 1st activity as a training sqd.
pop evaluation. heard shocking news.
interaction. had self-intro and a little talk on our training yr.
pt. HEY I DIDNT FALL OUT.
it wasnt tough for most ppl but for me, ALL PTS ARE TOUGH.
but well, the point is i didnt fall out. that is like so rare can.
drill. for once ever since ptm took over, didnt need to go toilet and adjust. wahahaha. i feel accomplished. but my badge was super crooked. but ma'am didnt say anything. :)
